IT'S ALL ABOUT GOD!

Daily Diary - August 24th, 2016

It’s All About God!

God made us in His image and has a plan for each and every person.  When we humble ourselves to understand that it’s about Him and not us, we can achieve a life of joy, peace, love and success.  I was reading through my first book “The Perfect Game” and wanted to share this 2-page story below.  As I look back over the past 10 years since this writing I am even more convinced that life really isn’t about me.  It’s about becoming whom God made us from the foundation of life.

One Sunday an evangelist brought a message about the book of Hebrews to our hometown church. At the beginning of the message, he made the statement that scholars were not 100 percent sure that Paul was the author of Hebrews. The writing was different in nature, and it was obvious that there was some confusion as to the certainty of the author.

About a week after the message, I was reading through the first part of this writing. I felt the Holy Spirit reveal to me a powerful revelation. The word was, “Mark, could you write this book without putting your name on it?” The next word was, “Would it be enough about Me [the Lord] that you could give Me all the credit for the writing?” Wow! This was a tremendous revelation to me.

Immediately I knew that God’s Word was so powerful that my writing was simply a translation and a testimony to a work He had performed many times in people’s lives. It was only one of millions that the Lord had performed in people’s lives. It was very humbling to know that God is complete in all of His ways.

I pray that you, the reader, will get this revelation. God is on the throne. We are all equally special to Him. The Word tells us hat He loves us all the same. If we choose to diligently seek Him, He will reveal to us, not only what I have learned, but even more. Every detail in each life is an amazing story that the complete, living Word will reveal truth and power to us. The testimony that God through Jesus Christ our Savior has for each of us is that real to each individual in every way. He is that perfect in His will for our lives.

I believe that we can all seek God in such a way as to have the same revelation of just how amazing His plans are for each of us.

Jeremiah 29:11For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

God is love! He loves us and He is absolutely complete in His plans for us. It is not my testimony that I have compiled in this work. It is a written, visual discernment of a perfect plan that God had for my life, and a revelation of how He is the One who deserves the glory.

Our perception of what is good for us is not even close to God’s perfect will. My desire is to humbly seek Him because my most extreme imagination cannot come close to realizing His plan. We must bury our carnal desires and plans and receive that which is truly great and perfect for our lives. It is found in the Word of God!

Matthew 10:29-31Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.

Romans 8:38-39

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
