NO FEAR IN LOVE!
Made Perfect In Love
When you face pressure situations in life, it challenges you to hold firm to your foundation. The foundation that comes from knowing Jesus Christ as Lord comes from “Love”.
1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
If we are made perfect in love then fear will be cast out. I have faced many trials in life and have concluded that the only thing that causes torment to leave, is surrendering to the love and complete work of God. This position of surrender aligns us with the Father that went to the cross for our sins. This “love” makes us strong in faith and secure in God and eliminates any “Torment” of the world.
Question: Are you going through torment?
2 Timothy 1:7 God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
If we are in torment then we are in fear. The scripture tells us that we are walking outside of God’s love if we are in fear.
To eliminate torment, we must eliminate “fear”. To do this we must recognize where fear comes from. It is not from God. It came from the insecurity of our own sin! This separation from God causes insecurity. We must follow the plan and accept Jesus Christ as savior and walk in the “security” of Him as Lord. When this happens we become “one” with the Lord and His love protects us and keeps us free from the fear of being “ALONE”.
Father God, we thank you for your love and acceptance of us. We seek your love today and may it eliminate our fear. In Jesus name, Amen!
Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
