YOU'RE NOT ALONE

You’re Not Alone
I have made a point to parable sports to life and this morning is no different. Sometimes the batter’s box can be a very lonely place. When we stand in the batter’s box all eyes are on us. It is a place where we are close to success and failure at the same time. In a matter of seconds we can be found accepted by our success or somewhat shamed by our failure.
Each day we place ourselves in this same spot light. We are going out into the world and have to make choices. Today we will have many chances to fail or succeed. When we know Jesus Christ as savior we can maintain our peace because all things work together for those who love the Lord.
Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose.
I was led to put together a series of scriptures from God’s word that reminds us of who He is to us and how much He cares for us. All of us need to be reminded of these promises from God, but someone in particular is going to gain hope from this reading. There are many times in life where we feel alone. These are the times when we need to strengthen our relationship with our father God.
When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you have the promise of life and God desires to bless you.
Do you feel alone?
Hebrews 13:5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
God tells us that He will never leave us nor forsake us. He is right there with you all the time.
When you feel like the world is against you and nothing seems to be working out, you have God himself on your side.
Do you feel defeated?
Romans 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
When you feel like you have messed up badly and there is no way that anyone can love you. Remember noting can snatch you out of the hand of God.
Do you feel unworthy?
John 10:28-30 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30 I and My Father are one.”
One thing I have learned in life is that God is right there waiting to pick us up when we struggle. He is a good God that loves us. His timing is perfect and He wants us to call upon Him to be our source in life. Seek Him in your time of need and not your problem. Seek His love and truth and let Him sift through the struggle in your life and make a way that only He can make.
Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Father God we love you and recognize you as Lord of our lives. By Your word we are reminded of our relationship with You, and that You sent your Son because you loved us. We surrender to Your plan for our lives and seek Your will and choose this day to trust You in Jesus name. Amen
Romans 8:38-39
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
