The TRUTH vs. Your Truth
The difference between “YOUR TRUTH” and “THE TRUTH” is that one is actually “True” and the other is simply an opinion.
It seems as if celebrities, including Oprah, are caught up and deceived to respond from their personal feelings and opinions of others to create a narrative that has no actual truthful foundation. It is a false and twisted representation of people that believe their own opinion matters. These opinions come from those that are operating outside of God’s biblical truth. I am not passing judgment about who is saved and who is not, but the bible tells us that you will know them by their fruit.
Matthew 7:15-1715 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16 By their fruit you will recognize them.
Galatians 6:7-8 7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
John 7:17-19 Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own. 18 Whoever speaks on their own does so to gain personal glory, but he who seeks the glory of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him.
If a persons opinion is not biblically supported as TRUE. It is NOT True!
We can’t just love what our opinion tells us we can love. We must love the way God loves and that love comes from His foundation of truth and righteousness.
The celebrities in Hollywood and beyond are in a position to influence millions of people and I am hopeful that they would have a biblical foundation from God to support their opinions. Unfortunately that very seldom is the case.
Father God we humble ourselves to the truth of your word and pray for those in positions of influence to consider what they speak to those being influenced. May your WORD and TRUTH abound in our hearts. Help us to humble ourselves to your plan and seek your truth in Jesus name Amen!
