BRING IT TO GOD

Bring It To God
We helped on the ministry team at a revival last night and I gained a revelation from God. During the alter call we had people that came forward to bring their sin before God and ask for forgiveness.
The scripture below that came to my mind talks about how Adam and his wife “hid” themselves from the presence of the Lord?
Genesis 3:6-8 So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.
8 And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.
Adam and Eve sinned and then hid themselves from God.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Question: Do you hide your sin from God?
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
God wants an open relationship with us and He loved us enough to send His son to the cross to make this relationship possible. We have been bought back by a great price.
Galatians 3:13-15 Christ paid the price to free us from the curse that the laws in Moses’ Teachings bring by becoming cursed instead of us. Scripture says, “Everyone who is hung on a tree is cursed.” 14 Christ paid the price so that the blessing promised to Abraham would come to all the people of the world through Jesus Christ and we would receive the promised Spirit through faith.
The Lord is available and walking in your presence today. If you find yourself hiding from Him spiritually, you simply need to ask for forgiveness and be set free. This forgiveness is made available through knowing Jesus Christ as savior. Jesus didn’t come for us to spiritually hide from God. He came so we could be set free from sin and death.
Romans 8:1-4 Consequently, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.3 For what was impossible for the law, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and concerning sin, he condemned sin in the flesh,4 in order that the requirement of the law would be fulfilled in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
Father God we thank you for your grace! We repent today of the sin in our lives and ask you to forgive us of all unrighteousness and expose to you the areas that we keep in darkness. Thank you for setting us free from sin in Jesus name, Amen!
Ephesians 5:10-12 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret.
Romans 8:38-39
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
