DECEPTION VS TRUTH

DECEPTION VS TRUTH

What is Colin Kaepernick's Foundation for Rebellion?

Is the Rebellion of Kaepernick and others not honoring the National Anthem based on God's Truth or is it more than likely based on deception?

I believe in standing up for what you believe, but when someone does it uninformed or without God's truth, it is causing greater deception rather than a solution.  Kaepernick is in a position to influence others, but from a fleshly position rather than a biblically true position, it simply adds to the problem.  In other words; If the message isn't clear its causing deception.

As we live in a world deceived by more and more untruth we find society drifting further from any peaceful answers.  It seems I continually write on the fact that without a Godly foundation there will be no peaceful result to racism, terrorism, gun control, and so on. God didn't create the destruction that lies within all these fleshly issues. These are man's issues based on selfishness, jealousy and pride that was never a part of God's perfect plan for us.  These are FLESH issues and you can never fight FLESHLY battles with FLESHLY answers.

Galatians 5:13-15 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.

The action of Kaepernick and others is designed to make a point and I get it.  But it will never be received that way because the intent is to push an agenda which will simply flame the fire.

Until someone provides bible scripture for rebellion against authority we need to be careful where its intent comes from.  Mankind is a fallen race and "EVERYONE" has fallen short of the glory of God, so therefore when people rebel in any case they are proclaiming their right to judgement.  This protest is a display of Kaepernick judging "America" and all who have died to make it great! This is people of every race.  To throw the entirety of America into a blame situation for an issue in this manner will only stir the flame of people everywhere.  Those who follow such "Rebellion" are simply sheep that are following in response to issues they more than likely don't understand either.  It goes back to either having a spiritual foundation in God that is bound in truth, or being lost and seeking your own personal direction.

To take the stance that these players are taking is ultimately passing "JUDGEMENT" on America, all other "RACES", the MILITARY and so on.  From a biblical and spiritual sense this type of judgement is challenging all people in their flesh!

Matthew 7:1-5  1“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye?Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

One word is on display in Kaepernick rebellion! "Hypocrite".  This is not my opinion, this is God's word!

When I think about Martin Luther King's position and what made him a unifier of people, Ive concluded that he had a God centered approach to his message and leaned on SCRIPTURE to support the issues.  It is very simple when you think about it.  God's Word when called upon will UNITE people every time.  Because spiritual judgment in these issues is passed beyond the individual person and into the hand's of God.  This takes humility and a relationship with Jesus Christ!

When people take it upon themselves to proclaim their own right without God, they are still under the judgement of the "LAW" and the enemy has the ground to divide people.  Only the lamb of God, which is Christ Jesus is worthy to proclaim judgement.

Revelation 5:12 “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!”

The rebellion against standing for the National Anthem can only cause a bigger gap in the racial issues because it does not have God at the center of it spiritually.   Whether a person is black, white, yellow, brown or other has nothing to do with the "ROOT" of the problem.  The root of these issues are clearly defined as "SIN" and outlined in Galatians Chapter 5.

Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

The above scripture tells us about the foundation of fleshly issues that are at the root of the enemies deception for us.  People don't want to admit that they "ENVY" others or are jealous or have selfish ambitions so they base their open excuses on other things.

James 3:16 16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.

Let's see if this rebellion stirs up a bunch of evil things.  If it does than by God's word it is rooted in envy.

Example:  I have struggled at times with wanting to have the talent of players like Colin Kaepernick.  This is simply because "envy" would come up in my heart wanting to play for an NFL team.  But rather than look at myself as being prideful and not big or talented enough, I could blame it on the fact that he is black and attack him. Maybe he is better at playing quarterback and I am jealous. This is an example of us RACE baiting rather than humbly admitting the truth!

Kaepernick "cannot" be dissatisfied with his wealthy position in the world.  In fact, if you asked him to trade places with some of the unfortunate black or white people in America, he would probably choose not to.  He is like most American's and deceived about issues that are created in the flesh and not by God.  We all are at times.  Although on some fronts he may have good intentions, the "world" is not able to find them without people everywhere getting their flesh worked up.  Therefore its not a good plan!  It opens the door for the enemy to stir up the unknowledgable and uninformed people.

I'll give you an analogy.  Kaepernick seemed to have a different approach to life when he was at the top of the NFL and coming up to be one of the games best.  His pride was "FULLY" stroked by people around the NFL.  Now that he has slipped into the lower tier of quarterbacks and is on the verge of simply not being good enough, he is seeking to stroke his ego another way.  Just my thoughts.  Now I am passing judgment. We need to see how it works and admit that we will not make fleshly decisions well in the battle of race.  We will all simply answer with our own position of pride.  I am certain Adam and Eve ate from the same apple.

Even if people agree that equality in certain areas needs to take place, a world wide rebellion led WITHOUT a biblical foundation and one that is not CHRIST centered will cause division.  Only Jesus Christ can unify mankind.

Anyone that attacks other people about issues of the flesh without a "BIBLICAL" foundation is operating out of a root of deception. Even tho the players will proclaim that they are not attacking others, the simple fact is "They are", because its what is perceived by the public.  This will always happen unless Jesus is openly at the center.

I have never seen a person, that truly has found Christ, stand up for issues without knowing that there is spiritual warfare that is much greater than the issue.  Christian leaders around the world understand that "RACISM" may exist in some form of the word, but in reality, is a only a result of deeper spiritual struggles that we all deal with.

Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

The truth is;  we are not fighting against flesh and blood!  This means we are not fighting about race!  Because race is flesh.  We continue to fall into the enemies trap and Kaepernick is at the center of it.

I am part Pottawatomie Indian and because I have heritage as an "INDIAN", or culture that comes from my parents and grand parents, doesn't mean I am better than anyone else, but it "AUTOMATICALLY" makes me defensive in my "FLESH", when someone says something about my tribe or parents.  This is a natural thing in our flesh and we all deal with it.  I have learned that the area where I am struggling is with PRIDE!, JEALOUSY and ENVY and not the color of my skin.  I am certain that the INDIAN people have been miss treated, but in my opinion it was never because of the color of the skin, but rather based on culture or race or that some underlining agenda could be advanced.

It was based on SIN!  The Indians had the land and people wanted it and would operate in their flesh to obtain it.

I can't stop being white and Indian, but I can look at myself and where I can change, rather than "BLAME" the world around me for my position in life.  I refuse to pass judgement on others without first judging myself spiritually.  This is the humility that God's word talks about and it's a choice. This protest when not rightfully explains attacks basically everyone and everything!  Because of the deception of the enemy and how he will twist peoples minds.

James 4:10  Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

Martin Luther King Jr. was a humble man of God and he was effective in ministry and was successful and respected because his foundation was from the Lord.

None of us can change the fact that "white" people were the core race that built the constitution of America.  It is simply the way it is.  Those men built a free country with a "BIBLICAL FOUNDATION" regardless of how recent history has tried to paint the picture.  I truly believe these men did the best they could at the time, and God had a hand in this country's structure.  History has proven this on many fronts.

When we look at world history of different races, especially the American Indians, the African American, the Jews and so on there was always a sinful spiritual root at work and never was it truly about skin color.  Some of it was culture, religious and background, but persecution of people will always be rooted in; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries.  These are the works of the FLESH!

John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Example:  For people to blame the white race, is actually to blame the "SIN" of selfish ambitions and pride.  The "white" race is often blamed with manipulation to be "WEALTHY" and use tactics from Galatians to fulfill their plan of pride.  It is possible for a white person to manipulate people of another "RACE"  to obtain wealth or vice versa.  If this is true in some instances in our past then it was possibly used for selfish ambition and not to oppress because of skin color.  Therefore, it comes from the root of deception and sin and not color of skin.  It we look closely we could find out that one race could actually be pushing this "AGENDA" of others not of the same race!  I believe the position of power that is up for grabs politically during this election season is based on this race issue and it actually has nothing to do with race but rather deception to use people to obtain more power.  That is a whole other issue.

Back to the kneeling on the anthem issue.  To me it is a blatent lack of respect for his position on a team and in a league.  This is not the time or place for this expression because all the people watching are confussed by what his intentioins truly are.  This only leads to greater deception and confussion.  God is not a God of confusion.

If Kaepernick would address "issues" from a biblical standpoint and call "SIN" what it is, people might could rally around him because it would come from God's truth.  To call it the "WHITE" mans fault is what is implied and it simply makes him and his supporters "RACIST" themselves.  It is a part of the problem and not the solution.

I can create a biblical "FOUNDATION" answer for every issue that America is facing and it will point back to "SIN".  This sin is laid out for us in Galatians in the bible.  People are perishing because they don't know God and refuse to admit their "SIN".  It would be embarrassing for an NFL quarterback to swallow his pride and say that he is jealous or envious of the of so called "WHITE" America, but that is more than likely what is taking place.  How else can someone that is so "blessed" by this country choose to judge it in this manner?  If you can answer that question with anything other than one of the root words of FLESH found in Galatians I would love to hear your answer.

Christians will fail in their flesh often and rely on the fact that they need a savior, when they fall short in their Christian walk they are always quick to humble themselves and look into their own heart first as the problem.  This brings forth repentance.  This is the power of the cross.  You show me someone that is blaming others and refuses to call sin, "sin" and admit they have also fallen short in life and I will show you deception of the enemy in their tactics.  This deception is the same that Adam and Eve faced in the garden and failed.

Christians will follow God's Word even when they stumble.  They refuse to continue to push a fleshly position without admitting their own faults in spiritual areas at some point.  Simply put, they will not remain in sin.  The conviction of Christ and the cross brings forth humility and repentance that leads to Godly solutions.

I believe God's word tells us it takes hate, jealousy or envy to rebel in the manner that has taken place on this issue.

We are all deceived at times, but in spiritual reality these problems have nothing to do with color of skin.  Racism is a result of man's failure.  It is not a part of God's truth!

Galatians 5:16 Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.

Question:  Is it your flesh that gets stirred up when you watch race baiting on television, or your spirit?

If it's your flesh that gets worked up, then ask yourself.  Am I jealous?, am I envious?, does it stir up anger or hatred?

If the answer is YES.  then stop trying to fix the problem!  You are trying to fix it with your "FLESH" and not God.  I have to remind myself of this very thing.

These are 2 separate contradicting positions and they will never agree with each other based on God's word.  To agree at this point is impossible so we are simply adding to the conflict.

For those of you that are trying to figure out what is going on with Kaepernick and this issue simply ask 1 question.  Does it bring Honor and Glorify God?  If the answer is NO, then the rebellion is not of God.

I have 2 choices when I am confronted with racism.

#1  Get angry in my flesh and blame the black or white race and add to the conflict.

#2  Pray and educate myself in God's word to answer people with the truth and lean on a Godly answer.

Getting angry, rioting, looting, passing judgment and blaming everyone is not the answer and that is what almost every opposition group is trying to do.  We need JESUS and we need the Word of God!  Anything else will ADD to the problem.

Choosing to pray and seek Godly answers is hard when our flesh raises up inside of us.  This is because we "NEED" a savior.  The white, black or brown man cannot fix our issues.  In fact, the more we look at it as a "RACE" issue the more the problem will compound.

I personnaly need a savior all the time and believe we all do.

I am not writing this to tell you that Kaepernick is wrong.  Personnaly in his heart he may have a good plan and it may be truly from God in some areas, but that is not the message that is being sent.  In fact the message is getting more and more confussing as it is discussed.  Based on God's Word it appears Kaepernick is deceived that race is the problem and is leading others down the same path.  The enemy does not want us to unite and call SIN what it is because the revelation of JESUS as Savior would become the ONLY solution.  Only the Grace of God and His plan for our lives can fill the hole of injustice or any other sin driven wrong doing in society.

I realize I will wrongfully judge people at times and somewhat have in this writing.  But we must conclude that MANKIND or America is not fixing the SIN issue of race.  We all should know that only JESUS CHRIST has defeated sin and the bible tells us how.

Father God, we ask that you forgive us of "SIN".  We recognize that our fellow man regardless of color is not our enemy, but rather the enemy himself has people deceived.  Humble our nation to your word and plan of salvation so we can know the truth of your great love and plan for our lives in JESUS NAME! Amen.

I challenge you to read Galatians Chapter 5-13-26 below with an open heart and let it speak to you.  Maybe God can use this article to help us repent and find salvation.

Galatians 5:13-26 For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. 14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”15 But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!

Walking in the Spirit

16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

Romans 8:38-39

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
