Mark and Carrie Ward

Messenger of Christ,
Motivator of People

Mark Ward Ministry

Carrie and I have been married and following the Lord for 26 years. Like all people we have been through a lot of ups and downs and trials. Life changed when we found Jesus Christ as our savior. That's when  we discovered that God loves us and our children. I know the Lord has a future and hope for us in Jesus name!

It is a great thing as a father to know my children, Carrie and I are saved and will spend eternity in heaven.

During a time of desperation I learned that God’s plan is the only plan that works. We chose to serve the Lord and His word never failed. It has brought us peace and joy beyond our belief.

I was given this scripture when I was on the bottom and searching for God.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

While following His plan I have witnessed the amazing goodness of God so much that I published 3 Christian books and have written blogs and preached the gospel for years. I had a burning desire to share this amazing “LOVE” I had discovered.

With this love of God as our corner post, the young men that God had placed in our hands grew up to become husbands and fathers. They were being transformed the way that God would want them to be based on His word. They have become difference makers on and off the field in a Godly way.

I have been blessed to coach more players than I can count over the last 26 years while winning many games and championships.  It wasn't about the winning on the field but about doing my best to teach young men about the love of God. I have seen this change that God made in me impact many. To see those people that come across our path living for the Lord and raising their children with the Word of God strengthens me. I have a deep desire to do my part to help as many people find Jesus as possible.

2 Corinthians 12:9-11
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Carrie and I have been involved in coaching, travel ministry, youth ministry, preaching and raising our children for the past 26 years and the Lord has been with us every step of the way.

The bible tells us that we are ALL sinners and fall short of the glory of God. If that statement is true. Then ALL means ALL. We are all purchased and reconciled back to God by the blood of Jesus Christ.  We are simply all sinners saved by the grace of God.

The bible is clear on this one major fact as Christians that we all share in. The blood of Jesus is the atonement for our sin.  Through His sacrifice for us we have eternal life with our Lord and Savior.

The bible also tells us that we must forgive others before our Father in heaven can forgive us. God not forgiving me is a judgement that I will never ask for or want in my life or my family. I’ve learned to walk in forgiveness to receive His forgiveness.

I have an amazing wife and children that love me to the end. It is a fact that our children have become life changers and difference makers because they know Jesus Christ as savior.

My heart desires for everyone to experience that same love, peace and joy that I have today.

Every person should be challenged to stand up for the truth of God and the gospel of Jesus Christ.  The harvest that God wants to reach is not behind the 4 walls of the church. It’s on the ball fields, the basketball courts, the classroom and beyond. We have a responsibility to push back the darkness that we all see and tend to ignore today.

Our young people need our help in a crazy fallen world. The question is are “WE” willing to do what is necessary to teach them the only plan that works… The gospel of Jesus Christ.

I am thankful for all the people that God puts in our path along our journey to reveal His grace and mercy to the world.

Sincerely,

Mark Ward

Romans 8:38-39

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
