Introduction
In this section, “Revelations of the Jesus Kind”, you will find the “revelation” of Jesus Christ and the continuous revelations of the truth we receive by knowing Him as our Lord and Savior.
I encourage you to read these “parables” that reveal the power, redemption, restoration, manifestation, and completion of God’s work through His Son, Jesus Christ. May the Holy Spirit reveal to you the truth of Jesus Christ as Lord!
In Luke 8:17 Jesus says, “For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light.”
Webster’s Dictionary defines the word “parable” as a simple story used to illustrate a moral or spiritual lesson, as told by Jesus in the Gospels.
In the New Testament, Jesus used thirty-eight different parables to deliver His messages to people. The parables were used so the people would gain a “revelation” of God and HIS nature. How much more will God use the parables of life daily through the Holy Spirit who lives within us as believers?
I believe we are on earth to grow to become more like God. Second Corinthians 3:18 says, “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
The first chapter of this book explains what revelations are, how to activate God’s plan, and the ongoing process these “revelations” can play during our Christian walk. The remaining chapters are individual “revelations” through “parables” that the Holy Spirit has given me through dreams and visions. It is my desire that these parables, dreams, and visions will help you, the reader, to begin to see your own life as a process leading you to understand and take on God’s nature in similar ways.
The Holy Spirit of God is our Helper, and He is available to reveal God’s nature to us in the same way as when Jesus was here in the flesh. We simply need to be aware of how to listen to God.
I believe life is an ongoing process of “parables.” While some people are seeking and listening with the heart of God, others are not. Each day we face a combination of different events or “parables” that will ultimately challenge us to make a choice of what we follow – God’s plan or the world’s plan.
God is a good God all the time, and He is not trying to hide Himself from His people. The “revelations” of God are available continually through life’s circumstances. Oftentimes people are not trusting God in faith and following Him in a manner that He can be revealed to them. Yet, He is giving us the “parables” daily. We simply need to seek God and ask Him to reveal Himself to us.
Since God is God and desires to reveal Himself to us, we must conclude that God can speak to us through dreams and visions as well as through life events. This is the area where God really began to bring parables into my life.
Joel 2:28 says:
“And it shall come to pass afterward
that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;
your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
your old men shall dream dreams,
your young men shall see visions.”
This book is an account of the recent “parables” given to me through situations and dreams.
I have learned that the revelations of God are available to anyone who will follow Him and believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died for him or her for the forgiveness of sin and the healing and wholeness of their physical bodies; He rose to heaven so they can have eternal life both now and forever.
“Life” means life NOW. Christ said, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” (John 10:10). We can find that “life” by accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior and receiving the revelations that follow through our relationship with Him.
The freedom that we gain through Jesus allows us to grow and face life without fear of the enemy. We have been bought back by a great price – the shed blood of Jesus Christ. When we trust the Lord enough to believe that with God we cannot be defeated, then we understand that there is no need to turn from or quit the plan that God has for us. Even when we stumble, we can hold on to our relationship with CHRIST JESUS!
I believe that God has a great plan and purpose for each individual. When we follow Him, we will have outcomes based on God’s nature. I believe that “prophecy” is partially knowing God’s nature and believing that He has an outcome of good things based on His Word. I also believe God chooses to “reveal” Himself to people prophetically as HE wills.
Galatians 1:12 says, “For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.”
Although I feel that I am the least of the least, God has called me to be an author, a servant, and a messenger of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ!
My prayer is that you will become more like Jesus as you read and meditate upon the parables shared throughout this ministry.
