WE HAVE A TRUST ISSUE

Daily Diary February 13th, 2019

We Have A Trust Issue!

This morning I was having breakfast and thinking about trust.  I believe our biggest issue we face is trusting others and God.  Our “self reliance” has reached a level of personal dependency that we believe we can do everything without having to trust anything or anyone, especially God.

Call it selfishness if you will, but people, beg, borrow and steal to maintain self-control of things in life rather than rely on God and others for anything.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Question: Do you trust the Lord in your life?

We scramble through life and try to fix our problems by leaning on our own strength and resources instead of actually “Trusting God”?

Proverbs tells us to acknowledge Him in all our ways and He will direct our paths.  How can we follow the direct path of God in our lives if we don’t trust and acknowledge Him?  The answer is that we cannot!

News flash; It’s not God’s fault if life is not working out for us.  God’s way is perfect and we can trust Him in all things.

2 Samuel 22:31 As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

I believe we have to grow in our relationship with God and trust Him before we can trust others.  We live in a world that has given up!  We have tried to rely on others without God and we have been let down time and time again.  We have a “Trust” issue.

The Word clearly explains God’s nature and it will never fail us.  We have to know it and apply it to life.  When this happens we will understand that we can trust God.  This is clearly a submission of our will over to God.

Father God we choose to Trust you in all things. We will seek your Word and grow in your ways so you can make our path straight in Jesus name! Amen.

Psalms 34:8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trustin Him!

Romans 8:38-39

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
