CHRISTIANITY

Daily Diary - February 15th 2016

As I continue to see the world reflect its opinion of Christianity I can’t help but be amazed at the foolish lack of knowledge that is being thrown around the internet and television by the “World”.

The latest headline I read said “Christian Peyton Manning in another scandal”.  First of all the scandals that the world is trying to attach to Peyton are more than likely false.  Secondly and more importantly, why is Peyton Manning and others so visibly labeled as “Christian” with the intent of emphasizing that he or she shouldn’t ever make a mistake or that they are supposed to be perfect.  There is only one perfect one.  Jesus Christ.

Romans 3:10-11 10 As it is written “There is none righteous, no, not one; 11 There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God.

I believe this scripture would also reflect those who write stories about Christians without knowing what a Christian is.  They obviously do not seek God.

Romans 3:23-24 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

We need to conclude by the Word that no Christian is righteous without Jesus, Peyton Manning or any other.  The righteousness that Christians have comes from Jesus Christ alone.

Our world is dead set on pushing the agenda that a Christian should not be making a mistake when the simple fact is that Christians are people that have admitted to needing their Savior Jesus Christ. The entire concept of a person being perfect because they profess their faith in Jesus is a straight lie and deception of the enemy that keeps people stirred up labeling Christians as people who are perfect when in reality it is the complete opposite.  This is causing unsaved people to disbelieve the Christian faith when it isn’t true about the Christian faith at all.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Certainly a Christian is committed to being Holy and growing in their faith and relationship with Jesus, but to simply label them as being perfect and to try to embarrass them by using their Christianity as a focal point to push an anti-Christ agenda is wrong based on the bible facts of Christianity from its foundation.  It’s simply another lie.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

The fact is that we are all unworthy and in need of Grace.  The bible tells us that the Lamb of God is the only one Worthy.  This is Jesus Christ.  Peyton Manning or any other famous person will never be worthy because of their Christian faith alone.  They simply recognize their relationship with Christ and are in need of God’s grace when they fall short of His glory.

Revelations 12:11 And theovercame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

People don’t overcome the enemy by their ability.  They overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony.  Christians testify that Jesus Christ is Lord and the fact is they overcome as a Christian by the blood of the lamb.

Christians are people who have humbled themselves to the fact that they need a savior because they are not worthy of righteousness and they are in fact “Sinners”.  When we admit that Jesus is our savior we are confirming HIS righteousness and not our own.  This is not a license to sin, but rather it puts in in right standing with God and we can begin to walk out our salvation to become more and more like Christ during our journey.  This happens because he “Loved” us enough to send His son to save us from ourselves.  We are being transformed.

2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Summary:  As Christians we need to educate the world on the facts of the bible and the truth of the relationship we have with Jesus.  It’s based on the fact that we need a Savior.  The world is speaking loudly and publically about this issue and it is confusing people who need Christ.  In fact media outlets and people that are simply ignorant of the Christian faith are doing the work of the enemy.  They are pushing the lies and deception to a lost world of people that are need of the “Truth” of the Gospel!

I have mentioned this many times but the bible is clear when it say’s my people perish from a lack of knowledge.  This is even more than a lack of knowledge.  This is a blatant attack on God himself and those who push this deception have declared false teaching.

John 8:44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

We need to open up the Word of God and begin to obtain truth.  God doesn’t wish any to perish, but come to repentance.

Romans 14:11 For it is written: “As I live, says the LordEvery knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God.”

Father, we thank you for your Grace and your righteousness.  We honor you as our savior and the one worthy.  Thank you that we can do all things through You in life and You make us worthy in Jesus Name!  Amen

Romans 8:38-39

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
