Revelation of the Glory of Heaven

(A Vision from the Holy Spirit)

Carrie and I are headed to Oklahoma City early this morning.  She is scheduled for minor surgery on her knee.  As I was thinking about her having this surgery and the love I have for her. It reminded me of a vision I had that I wrote about in my first book.  I wanted to share it with you.

One day I was driving down the road and meditating on how much God loves us. He has great things in store for us now and forever.

I had a vision that began with me in heaven. I saw the glory of God shining so brightly that His awesomeness was consuming my every thought. All bad things had passed away. I can only remember the magnitude of God’s love. It was so deep and powerful that it brought complete trust. Every care was completely obliterated by His love.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

I had often asked myself, “What about my loved ones, Lord? My wife? What about my children?” The revelation of His awesome power and love completely eliminated the questions I had while on earth. I can’t explain in words the amount of security that was present. I was completely absent of any worry, concern, or issue that was once so relevant while alive in body. I had asked the question on earth, “If in heaven all worries and fear are gone, does that mean I quit caring about my children and my wife?”

The message was very simple and clear to my heart. It was this: “I am God, I am absolute truth, and I am complete love. Therefore, I am in control. I am the answer to all things.”

There was no pain, no worry, and no doubt. His Word is truth, and complete truth prevails over all things and eliminates doubt entirely. All of my questions were eliminated by the security of the truth and the love of God. It was not even considered to question the plans God has for our families on earth. It was complete and finished before the questions were ever asked. Wow! This was an awesome revelation. I trusted God while on earth. I had given Him first place. He had the ability to provide for all of my family’s needs and to protect them.

1 Peter 5:6-7 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, ⁷ casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

This revelation showed me that in His presence, love, and truth we find complete rest and acceptance.

God created us. He created my wife, my children, and my life. He was there and guided and directed my every move. Should He be capable of handling our every care? The answer is absolutely. He is the way, the truth, and the life.

In heaven we have come completely into His presence. Therefore, His truth from His Word is made manifest. “Rest in peace” is a reality through His truth and love being understood completely. Only in heaven will this take place. Thank God for His love and the security of forever!

Father God, Thank you for your truth in a world of lies.  Release your wisdom to us so we can understand your love to its fullest.  Thank you for accepting us and making a way for us to have hope of Your Glory. In Jesus Name! Amen.
