GUARANTEED SUCCESS

Daily Diary - February 24th 2016

Guaranteed Blessing

One truth I discovered is that when you have God on the throne of your heart and life, there are blessings in every opportunity. He doesn’t put us in a situation where we can make a bad choice as if our success is determined from the choice.  As long as we seek God His answers to our choices are yes and amen, because they are based on His love and truth.

Before I found the truth I thought I had to pray and guess properly to be blessed, but I learned that God is good all the time to those who love Him and He desires to bless us. We simply need to conform to the truth of the Word. I had believed that if I chose the wrong opportunity in a life decision, it would mess up my life. This is simply wrong!  Sure there are bad choices that we can make, but not if they come from God’s plan.  These choices are all good!

Parable:  I received this revelation in a parable. I bought my son Luke a new baseball bat. I handed it to him, and he said, “Thanks, Dad. I might want to use this old one.” As a good father I didn’t care which bat he used. His happiness was what was important to me. The fact is “both” bats were good. I wanted him to choose the one he liked.

This is exactly how God feels about us. We are His children. When we seek Him He runs opportunities past us and has us choose what makes us happy. The Word says He wants to give us the desires of our heart (Psalm 37:4). He really does! If we have Him as the foundation of our life, He will bless each choice that we make.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Many times I would have to choose between different jobs and there was a certain fear that I would choose wrong and mess things up.  This was like flipping a coin.  It was because I had not gained trust in God the way He desires it.  He will make each one work, just like either bat!

In 2009, I came to an awesome revelation. When seeking God the right way, everything that I had proclaimed that I wanted from my heart, God had given me, and then some. His work was complete.

Psalms 37:4 Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

One day in my heart God asked me if I was finished with these things and ready to fulfill the plan He had for me since birth. My answer was already there. Yes! He had provided and done everything for me. I am ready for this next chapter in life.  I had finally realized that the things I was seeking were not as good as the plan of God.

I trust and love the Lord very much and I know that His plan for my life is better than any of the desires that He has already fulfilled in me. I am asking God to use me to complete His perfect will for my life. It is an awesome surrender.

I pray that each person seeks God with complete trust in Him.  I pray for you to find the perfect will of God in each choice.  We need to stop being afraid to step out and walk through doors of opportunity because God isn’t about chance.  It’s not about flipping a coin rather or not you succeed.  It’s about seeking God and His nature and He will bless the choices that you make in Jesus name!

Romans 8:38-39

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
