FAVOR, PROTECTION AND WISDOM!

Daily Diary January 18th, 2019

Favor, Protection and Wisdom!

When we seek God first, we begin to evaluate what is important in life.  I have learned to pray for 3 things that God made available to us. These 3 things are “Favor”, “Protection” and “Wisdom”.

When Jesus Christ paid the price for our sin He opened up the portal to the blessing of God into our lives.  It is up to us to seek Him and all that He has for us.  This means we need to replace our fleshly desires for the things of God.

Luke 2:52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.

When Jesus was growing He increased in wisdom and favor with God and Men.  When we pray for wisdom we are taping into the unshakable “Truth” of God.  This Godly wisdom is the only wisdom we need to reach a Godly future.

The people that seek the knowledge of this “world” are seeking a foundation of knowledge that is corrupt and ultimately destructive to the core.  We need to eliminate the wants in our heart and mind that don’t line up with God, because they cannot, and will not, bring us spiritual prosperity.

We must learn what is acceptable to God and stay focused on it.

Ephesians 5:9-11 (for the fruit of the Spiritisin all goodness, righteousness, and truth),10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.

Jesus increased in favor with God and men.  When we have accepted Jesus Christ as savior, we “HAVE” obtained favor with God.  We simply need to tap into “His” plan and allow that favor to be our guide in life.  We can’t expect the favor of God when we are chasing the things of the world.

When we pray for favor with men, we are increasing in the type of favor that will influence the “lost”.  We have the power over the enemy so God can bring us favor over those of worldly influence!  He has overcome the world and will position us in successful situations in the world so we can prosper.

John 16:32-33 Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me. These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

We need to seek Godly protection over our lives and family in Jesus name.

2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.

2 Samuel 22:3-4 my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge, my savior; you save me from violence. 4 I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.

God has completed the work through His son Christ Jesus.  We still have the choice to seek God.  When we ask for favor, protection and wisdom, it is an admission and submission to God’s plan and not our own.

Father God, we pray for; favor, protection and wisdom in Jesus name.  We know by Your word we can reach our destiny as we willingly accepting your plan for our lives.  Thank you for making a way for us to become complete in “You” in Jesus name. Amen!

Romans 8:38-39

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
