PROCESS OF SPIRITUAL GROWTH - MANIFESTATION

Daily Diary - January 23rd 2016

Process of Spiritual Growth

Manifestation

When we seek God and His identity through redemption and restoration, He will begin to manifest Himself in all areas of our lives. Manifestation is defined as display, demonstration, show, exhibition, and presentation.

Webster’s Dictionary defines manifestation:

manifestation |ˌmanəfəˈstā sh ən; -ˌfesˈtā sh ən|

noun

an event, action, or object that clearly shows or embodies something,

1 Corinthians 12:7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profitof all:for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit,to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the sameSpirit,10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to anotherdifferentkinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

God begins to be on display in the areas of our lives that we choose to let His truth operate in. This is based on His will instead of our flesh that is trying to dominate us. God will manifest Himself all around us and reveal Himself to others through us in many areas including our marriage, children, work place and home. Simply stated His truth has transformed us and the result is the manifestation of God in our lives.

Question of the Day:  Have you been around spiritual leaders or even regular people and seen the manifestation of God all around them?

2 Corinthians 4:2 But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

This scripture tells us that what we manifest as Christians is the “Truth” that is of God.  This truth contradicts the world’s schemes and plans and is on display to distinguish itself from the evil of the world.

Question:  What is on display in your life?  Are you manifesting the truth of God in your walk, or the deceitfulness of the World? One way to tell is by your level of inward peace.  If you have the peace of God in your life then this is your personal evidence of your relationship in Him.

Whatever we put in will spill out of our lives.  If we are seeking the word of God and listening to the spirit of God our manifestation will be that of the “Truth”.

His manifestation of glory is clearly on display and is uncommon to the point that people will recognize that God is at work in our lives.

When this takes place other people will be drawn by the spirit of God towards what you have obtained.  The salvation of others is the Holy Spirits job. He draws people to the Lord.  The manifestation of the spirit living in us as Christians is an outward display of an inward change that testifies to the salvation of God in our lives.

The manifestation of God will be on display and present for people. This manifestation also is associated with our testimony, which is our topic for Monday.

Father, I pray that we grow in you in the manner that we manifest your truth to the world in Jesus Name!

Romans 8:38-39

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
