The Purchase Price

Daily Diary - January 5th, 2016

Today Tuesday January 5th, 2016 is a great day.  As I continue to seek God I know He is working out the fullness of each days blog post for us.

We have discussed so far that: “God knows the plans He has for us Jeremiah 29:11” and that “He will Author and Finish our Faith Hebrews 12:1-2” we begin to see Gods word fulfill itself for our future that He holds.

Yesterday’s message talked about a “CLEAN TITLE”.  Meaning that once something is purchased and there is nothing held against it, it becomes a free and clear title of ownership.

In yesterdays message the key scripture talked about how God purchased us back with the shed blood of His only Son Jesus Christ; Acts 20:28.  This is the “exchange” and or payment that made the “Title” to our lives free and clear in Him.

He took the stripes for not only our past sins, but also our present and future failures.  No matter what our lives look like to the world or how often we “miss the mark” of righteousness He still holds the title which He purchased with His blood.

Wow, what an awesome revelation for us to grasp.

This brings me to the powerful revelation that ties these blogs together.  It is found in:  Romans 8:1-4 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you, free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering, And so he condemned sin in the fleshin order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Webster’s Dictionary definition of condemn:

condemn |kənˈdem|

verb [ trans. ]

1 express complete disapproval of, typically in public; censure : fair-minded people declined to condemn her on mere suspicion.

2 find (someone) guilty of a criminal act or wrong.

• sentence (someone) to a particular punishment, esp. death : the rebels had been condemned to death | [as adj. ] ( condemned) the condemned men.

To condemn ourselves would mean that we are claiming that we are disapproved and guilty of wrong and condemned to death.  Which is the opposite of the life that Jesus bought back for us.  If we are “IN” Christ Jesus then by His word we are no longer guilty!

Romans 8:2 says “because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death!

Question:  If we are bought back or “PURCHASED” by the price of Jesus Christ.  Why do we often condemn ourselves? Why do we as people go around condemning each other?

The sin nature of our failure at the garden that began with Adam and Eve has the voice of the enemy continuing to throw guilt and shame at us, and each other.

We have to conclude that we are first ALL guilty and in need of salvation. We also need to conclude that if we are saved and in Christ Jesus all things are new.  We must strive to recognize this same revelation in others and stop the condemnation.  It is a lie that is running ramped in the body of Christ.

We have to stop believing that we are judge and allow the love of God to become our strength and source by understanding His word.

To answer our Question:  We gave up the right to our "life" or the title when we accepted Jesus Christ as Savior.  We cannot spiritually give up our ownership to be condemned because we were purchased back into the “Righteousness” that is Christ Jesus.

God owns the “title” and it’s a clean title that was purchased by blood.  I have NO right to sell myself back to the condemnation that the enemy brings to me in this life because the “Title” is not mine to rightfully give away or sell back!!  This is just like I have NO right to sell my neighbors house.  He has his own title and I have no right to His property.

Our job is to simply accept the fact that Jesus purchased our title.  Once that took place we can choose life or death in the here and now by FAITH!  By God’s WORD there is no condemnation for those that are in Christ Jesus.  This is not a feeling or an emotion that should cause us to waiver in our faith.  It’s a fact by God’s word!  So therefore we must believe HIS word and walk in the freedom, power and authority of the purchased price we were bought with.  The Blood of Jesus Christ our Lord!

Lord, we thank you for our salvation.  I pray that we all walk in the freedom and authority that is worthy of the price you paid in Jesus Name!

Romans 8:38-39

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
