YOU ARE SECURE
You Are Secure
Have faith and do not doubt your salvation for you are saved by grace through “faith” and not feelings or works.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
We must learn to accept the free gift of salvation. It places us securely in the palm of God’s hand. So many times our mistakes make us “feel” condemned and unworthy of this great gift. We are unworthy of the gift. That is the very point of being saved by Grace. This is not a license to sin, but rather the security of the father’s unconditional love for us.
Question: Do you feel unworthy?
Romans 3:10-11 “There is none righteous, no, not one;11 There is none who understands;
There is none who seeks after God.”
We all were passed over to judgment and placed on the cross to be redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. Only the lamb is worthy because He alone is Righteous.
Revelation 5:12 “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!”
In writing this blog this morning I am prompted to tell you that God loves you today and every day. His love for “YOU” was so important that He sent His only son as a sacrifice for you. Jesus took your place.
Renew your mind to God’s word and allow His security to become your strength today. He is a God that loves us and has a great plan even in the midst of our insecurity He is still God!
To walk in security we must know our position with God. The biggest problem with Christianity is that people believe they can become worthy by their own power. The world also points the finger at Christians as if they should be worthy on their own merit. This is opposite of the truth of the Gospel and the lie that is keeping people in bondage. No one is worthy on their own merit. If we were, God would not have had to send His Son. We can’t be worthy in and of ourselves. We need Jesus! People are perishing from the lack of knowledge of the bible.
Galatians 2:21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”
Today we all need to read this scripture and by faith accept our security in God through Christ Jesus our Lord!
Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
