EVERLASTING GLORY

Daily Diary March 31st, 2019

Everlasting Glory

While driving down the interstate I recognized that the road construction was everywhere. Crews were constantly repairing the damage that the traffic had caused.  I started to ask the question.  Is there anything that is going in the opposite direction?

It seems as if everything is in a cycle of withering away.  From the roadways to the flowers, trees and even people are in a process of dying off and or diminishing.  It seems that nothing is becoming better, or transforming into something beautiful.

I gained a revelation about our salvation from this withering away of life.  Only those that are saved and growing in God are being transformed into something that is beautiful with no end to the “glory” that God has in store for them.  By salvation our spirit is not only everlasting, but is becoming more and more complete and beautiful as we seek God to become all that He has for us.

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

We have been called into His glorious light and it never fades away.  Our salvation is eternal and has not destruction or withering in it.  We have become eternal in Christ Jesus our Lord and savior.

I believe God intended for His glory to be presented in a way that it is the only thing that cannot wither or pass away.  We are faced with only one plan and path of eternal life and the completeness of God.  Everything else is fading away.

Matthew 6:19-21 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Thieves cannot steal the treasure you lay up in heaven.  It is eternal secure in the hands of God.  His glory is a part of your inheritance and you will become complete in Him lacking nothing.

Psalms 16:11 You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.

Father God we thank you for the great gift of salvation.  We recognize that we have the hope of eternal life, joy and peace in your kingdom today.  As the world withers away around us, let us see the impact of seeking your glory and eternal blessings that we are storing up in heaven as we grow in your righteousness in Jesus name! Amen

Ephesians 1:3-14 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace, which He lavished on us. In all wisdom and insight He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him with a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth. In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will, to the end that we who were the first to hope in Christ would be to the praise of His glory. In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation--having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God's own possession, to the praise of His glory.

Romans 8:38-39

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
