LIVE BY FAITH!

Live By Faith

 (God is Good)

Each day we have a new life opportunity to reach our destiny in Christ. As you face today’s challenges, will you believe that God has a plan and He is filtering life through His hands or will you be tossed around by the consequences of life?

Question: Are you living your life by “Chance” that things will work out or by faith?

Romans 1:16-17For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written,“The just shall live by faith.”

Not being ashamed of the Gospel of Christ is important. We need to recognize Him as our source and that He has a great plan in all things. He is a good God all the time and desires to be our source.

ashamed |əˈ sh āmd|

adjective [ predic. ]

embarrassed or feeling guilt because of something one has done or a characteristic one has : you should be ashamed of yourself | [with clause ]

Being “ashamed” in this scripture means that we are basically saying what God did for us at the cross I am ashamed of. I believe our pride wants credit for our lives and we refuse to share it with our maker. He made us and He is our source. In this mind-set of being ashamed we cannot tap into God’s perfect plan and will for our lives.

If we seek the things of the world alone we will reap a whirlwind of potential destruction that is based on consequences designed to keep us from God.

When we live by faith in Jesus we are walking in His righteousness and the power of God is in our lives. Our testimony to Christ becomes our strength and source of reaching our destiny. It is in our “relationship” with Him that life has meaning and true potential.

Revelation: When your life is on display to others do you first state that Jesus plays a key role in your success and include Him in your process? Do you avoid God when you talk to others about your life? I believe this is what God means about being ashamed of the Gospel. I believe this is a direct challenge of our faith. If He truly is God and you are following the plan of the bible in your life you must conclude that He is more than relevant and worthy of praise.

Father, give us the wisdom to understand your Word. We will not be ashamed of our relationship with you. Our testimony to life will shine Your light to others and they will also partake in your Glory in Jesus name! Amen

Romans 8:38-39

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
