Revelations of The Jesus Kind

What is Revelations

The Holmen Bible Dictionary defines Revelation as the content and process of God making Himself known to people. All knowledge of God comes by way of revelation. Human knowledge of God is revealed knowledge since God, and He alone, gives it. He bridges the gap between Himself and His creation, disclosing Himself and His will to them. By God alone can God be known.

Biblical emphasis points to Jesus Christ as God's final revelation. God has provided ongoing generations of believers a source of knowledge about Himself and His Son. That source is the Bible.

People simply have the free gift of the Holy Spirit to receive revelations from God and He continues to reveal Himself today as He did to the original writers of the Bible. These revelations come while reading the word of God and while we apply His word to our life experiences, His truth becomes reality in every aspect of life.

God is no respecter of persons, He loves us and He is not hiding from us but waiting of us to humbly submit and trust Him as a good father so He can bring us revelations of His truth, grace and love. He is God and created everything and therefore we should not be surprised when God reveals Himself to us throughout our daily lives including when we sleep and dream. He is God!

We should be constantly receiving life-giving revelations from the Holy Spirit allowing us to grow spiritually the way God designed it.

The REVELATION of Jesus Christ is the foundation of Christianity. This revelation is based on the truth of God and the nature of this truth drawing people away from the failed sin life that has poisoned God’s truth since the Garden of Eden. This revelation can only take place when we “Surrender” our selfish nature completely to God. This “Surrender” is from the heart and is an admission that we are naturally weak and flawed in our flesh.   This weakness causes us to fall short at being complete the way God created us. God sent HIS son Jesus Christ as the substitute for our sin and reveals this great truth to His children. He is the ONE True lamb of God and through Him we gain eternal life and Victory, now and forever.

We must have faith in God to believe that He is who He says He is. At this point of submission we open ourselves to God’s plan and the revelations that He will bring us.

The relationship we gain through Jesus Christ is personnel and HE becomes our ever-present source in life. God created everything and therefore HIS plan is the absolute Truth and is available to be revealed by God to everyone who believes in faith through Jesus Christ!

The word revelation also means an uncovering, a removal of the veil, a disclosure of what was previously unknown. Revelation of God is God's manifestation of Himself to humankind in such a way that men and women can know and fellowship with Him.

Jesus explained to Peter: “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven” ( Matthew 16:17 NIV). The knowledge of Jesus' sonship was not attained by human discovery, nor could it have been; it came from God alone.

When a person becomes a “Christian” and gains the revelation of God through His son Jesus Christ, their perspective of life changes forever. This revelation is dramatic and begins a “PROCESS” of revealing the truth to each individual found in the Word of God. Once a “Christian” has truly gained the revelation of Jesus Christ, there should be no other option for them. They have tasted the goodness of God and have received the eternal life now and forever.

The truth of this revelation includes a Christians understanding the Trinity, (God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit). This truth is complete. This revelation of complete and perfect truth creates a conflict between the false representations of our thoughts and nature of our flesh and substantiates a new position in each person that causes one to humbly accept the truth of the revelation we have gained and follow God to our perfect destiny!

When we begin to walk in the truth of God’s Word we start to gain faith in the outcome that it has for us. The flesh and our old ways may attempt to contradict the truth that has been revealed to us, but a true believer that knows Christ will have FAITH as their foundation to hold onto allowing the truth to finish its work. The truth will eventually “win out” if we will continue to apply it!

To follow this process in faith to receive revelations from God we need to renew our mind daily, read the Word of God, get into a Bible based church and/or ministry and begin to allow the truth to operate in our lives. When this happens our faith grows and the “REVELATIONS” that God has for us explode, building more and more faith.   A person that is truly seeking God daily should be constantly gaining NEW Revelations of HIM and the plan that He has laid out for each individual. God created us and will reveal His nature to us in every possible way.

The revelation of Jesus Christ and His plan for us is the corner post of life and our foundation leading us to Victory now and forever! Amen!

Romans 8:38-39

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
