What's Your Struggle?

Daily Diary - January 8th 2016

What’s Your Struggle?

We talked about our “Choices” yesterday and we need to take it one step further.  When I was first saved God began to show me the difference between His will and the will of my fleshly desires.  Needless to say I had many bad habits along with spiritual wrong thinking.  Some in greater measure than others!

As I pressed into God’s word the Holy Spirit started to reveal and convict me of the things I needed to change.

Today’s Scripture:  Genesis 3:1-3 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which theLordGod had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”

Make a Choice!

Daily Diary - January 7th, 2016

Pick a Card

(Revelation)

Once saved by accepting Jesus Christ as savior we need to know what our choices are so we can grow in God to walk out our salvation and reach our destiny.

Daily Scripture: Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;

Our Failure To Victory

Know Yourself

Judgment and Condemnation

As we continue to talk about salvation we can conclude that it has to do with our identity.   When we are in Christ Jesus we begin to take on His nature.  That nature opposes the fleshly judgment of the world, which comes from our sin nature.  This judgment often leads to the condemnation that causes us to become like the “World” and cripples our witness. We condemn others and ourselves when we lose our identity in Christ.

Statement of the day:  “To make a difference in the world we must be different than the world!”

The Purchase Price

Daily Diary - January 5th, 2016

Today Tuesday January 5th, 2016 is a great day.  As I continue to seek God I know He is working out the fullness of each days blog post for us.

We have discussed so far that: “God knows the plans He has for us Jeremiah 29:11” and that “He will Author and Finish our Faith Hebrews 12:1-2” we begin to see Gods word fulfill itself for our future that He holds.

Romans 8:1-4 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set youfree from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering, And so he condemned sin in the fleshin order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Clean Title

Daily Diary - January 4th, 2016

A Clean Title

(Revelation)

One morning I was thinking about the favor of God and how close my relationship was becoming with Him. It wasn’t because of my ability to be perfect, because I was far from it.

I began to ask questions about my identity and what had changed in my life. I was focused on Jesus and what He had for me each day. That focus started to reveal to me that my identity was not my own, but rather it was in Him. It was beginning to line up with the Word of God. I would still fall short many times, but my desire to do better had become my focus. It is also important for us to remember that our righteousness comes from Jesus!

“Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.” Acts 20:28

Parable Sunday - Climbing Above the Water

Daily Diary - January 3rd

PARABLE SUNDAY

Climbing Above the Water

(Dream parable of rising above the flood)

Growing in our knowledge of God and the gifts of the Spirit is a process.  The world has a way of trying to throw things at us to keep us from walking in faith.  When we trust God and His word to push through trials we will stay above the water that tries to drown out our rightful position in the Lord.

Proverbs 3:5-6  New International Version (NIV)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
    and he will make your paths straight.

The Race of Faith

Daily Diary - January 2nd, 2016

Yesterday’s scripture Jeremiah 29:11 reminded us “God knows the plan He has for us”. Today I was led to expand on this by going a step further.

I gained a powerful revelation about God’s plan for our future in Hebrews 12:1-2

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Walking in God's plan for the New Year

Daily Diary - January 1, 2016

Today is the first day of 2016 and we all are excited to embark on a new plan.  As we seek direction we must understand that we walk in the finished work of our Lord.

The word for today is to understand and conclude in our heart that the work of God is “Finished” and we only need to trust him by His word to activate it in our lives.

 The bible tells us that without faith it is impossible to please God.  So therefore we must conclude that what His word says is True and capable of accomplishing its mission for us.

Unity in the Body of Christ

STOP with the Religion

As a Christian who stands on the foundation of Jesus Christ as my Savior, I have recently gained a revelation about “religion.” First of all, “religion” is defined as:

  1. Belief in, worship of, or obedience to a supernatural power or powers considered to be divine or to have control of human destiny;
  1. Any formal or institutionalized expression of such belief;

The Process of Spiritual Growth

The Process of Spiritual Growth

While analyzing my walk with the Lord I determined that there was a clear path or process that has taken place so we can grow towards completeness in the Lord. This process can take place at any time, and on all the following levels.

When we gain a new “Revelation” of God we can use the newfound truth to help us begin what I call the “THE PROCESS OF SPIRITUAL GROWTH”. This process includes: Redemption, Restoration, Manifestation, Testimony, Illumination, and Demonstration. All are examples, which display the goodness and victory of God to people around us.

Americans Freedom Revealed

God brought me a “Revelation” about the freedom we enjoy in America. This freedom is not only a physical freedom but also more of a “Spiritual” freedom. I simply believe that freedom comes from the heart of people. It’s an ability to be free emotionally, mentally, spiritually and physically.

Revelations of The Jesus Kind

What is Revelations

Revelations of The Jesus Kind

The Holmen Bible Dictionary defines Revelation as the content and process of God making Himself known to people. All knowledge of God comes by way of revelation. Human knowledge of God is revealed knowledge since God, and He alone, gives it. He bridges the gap between Himself and His creation, disclosing Himself and His will to them. By God alone can God be known.

How Do We Transform?

Activating God's Plan

The lack of knowledge of the word keeps people bound up wondering why God is not moving in their lives. It is most often because they don’t know God’s nature, which is found in His word. The submission of our fleshly weakness to Jesus Christ is mandatory for our growth in the Lord and activating His plan in our lives

God Wants A Relationship With You

Roman Road To Salvation

Salvation is easy, God wants a relationship with you. Here is scripture to lead you into a relationship with God:

Romans 3:23  For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 8:38-39 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Now nothing can separate you from Jesus!! That is exciting!!

New York Daily, God Already Fixed it!

After reading some of the ridiculous media coverage of the shootings around the world, I have been drawn to seek God for answers rather than people’s opinions or especially my emotions.

I have made many conclusions based on God’s Word that go against the norm of this off-base society and its leaders.  First of all, as people we must have a solid foundation of “TRUTH” to live by.
