KINGDOM COME!

Daily Diary - March 1st 2016

Kingdom Come

(End Time Prophecy)

Matthew 24:14 says, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

Amen!

I had a dream that Pastor Mark Haney and I were walking outside of our home church building. The building was empty and had been empty for quite sometime. Pastor was talking on the phone to other members of our church body about the ministry that was taking place, what was to come, and how God was moving through His people in a powerful way.  The Word of God would soon stand-alone.

THE PARABLE OF THE LION

Daily Diary - February 29th 2016

Parable of the Lion

(A Dream from the Holy Spirit)

One of the most vivid dream revelations I have received was about the lion that is seeking to devour us.

1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

In this dream, I was faced with a difficult situation. There was a lion outside of the house I was in and his goal was to destroy me. I realized the door was opened and I began to walk across an open field to another place of shelter.  I was exposed and the lion was lurking and waiting for his chance to attack. As long as I was inside this house I was protected and nothing outside had access to me so I was comfortable and at peace.

THE FUTURE IS GOD'S

Daily Diary - February 27th 2016

The Future is God’s

Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will guide you with My eye.

God shows us in this scripture that He will guide us by His eye.  This brings out a key revelation.  The word “eye” is used because God sees the future He has for us and will guide us to it if we are willing.

Question of the Day:  Are you worrying about so many things that are in the future that you can’t enjoy life today?

VICTORY

Daily Diary - February 26th 2016

VICTORY!

In the midst of the basketball playoffs I wanted to share a story from my Victory book today.

What is victory? It is success in a struggle against difficulties or an obstacle. Victory is the state of having triumphed. Victory refers especially to the FINAL defeat of an enemy or opponent.

Based on the definition of victory, we can conclude that there must be an enemy or opponent before there can be a battle. Therefore, if there is a battle that takes place, then someone will be victorious. If victory also tells us that the defeat is FINAL, then we can conclude that the battle will be finished once and for all!

YOU'RE NOT ALONE

Daily Diary - February 25th 2016

You’re Not Alone

I woke up this morning and God spoke to my heart that someone is feeling alone.  I was led to put together a series of scriptures from God’s word that reminds us of who He is to us and how much He cares for us.  All of us need to be reminded of these promises from God, but someone in particular is going go gain hope from this reading.  There are many times in life where we feel alone. These are the times when we need to strengthen our relationship with our father God.

When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you have the promise of life and God desires to bless you.

Do you feel alone?

Hebrews 13:5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

GUARANTEED SUCCESS

Daily Diary - February 24th 2016

Guaranteed Blessing

One truth I discovered is that when you have God on the throne of your heart and life, there are blessings in every opportunity. He doesn’t put us in a situation where we can make a bad choice as if our success is determined from the choice.  As long as we seek God His answers to our choices are yes and amen, because they are based on His love and truth.

Before I found the truth I thought I had to pray and guess properly to be blessed, but I learned that God is good all the time to those who love Him and He desires to bless us. We simply need to conform to the truth of the Word. I had believed that if I chose the wrong opportunity in a life decision, it would mess up my life. This is simply wrong!  Sure there are bad choices that we can make, but not if they come from God’s plan.  These choices are all good!

THE GLORY OF HEAVEN

Daily Diary - February 23rd 2016

Revelation of the Glory of Heaven

(A Vision from the Holy Spirit)

Carrie and I are headed to Oklahoma City early this morning.  She is scheduled for minor surgery on her knee.  As I was thinking about her having this surgery and the love I have for her. It reminded me of a vision I had that I wrote about in my first book.  I wanted to share it with you.

One day I was driving down the road and meditating on how much God loves us. He has great things in store for us now and forever.

I had a vision that began with me in heaven. I saw the glory of God shining so brightly that His awesomeness was consuming my every thought. All bad things had passed away. I can only remember the magnitude of God’s love. It was so deep and powerful that it brought complete trust. Every care was completely obliterated by His love.

ASK THE QUESTION

Daily Diary - February 22nd 2016

Ask The Question

To obtain knowledge we must first ask a question.  God revealed to me that we are asking the wrong questions and are looking for answers from the wrong place.

We are being conformed and controlled by society to think a certain way and we are stuck in a selfish mindset that lines up with what we have learned and not what God says.

After a little research, I found that a child at the age of 10 asks an average of 144 questions a day.  Wow!  This spoke to me that we are born to “Seek” answers.  Our problem is that we are getting our answers from the “World”.  When none of these answers work out for us we give up on the answer.  Therefore we become close-minded and stop asking questions.

We need to get back to asking questions.  We simply need to ask them the right way and from God because He is the one who created us.  Our selfish nature is contrary to His word and plan for our lives.

FORGIVE AND FORGET

Daily Diary - February 20th 2016

Forgive and Forget

As Christians we must understand that Jesus Christ came to save us from our sin. This also means we are forgiven by God when we believe in Christ as our savior.

Scripture of the Day:  Matthew 6:15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

The bible tells us that all fall short of the Glory of God. We all desire to be forgiven.  When we walk in our flesh we become self-conscious and believe that everyone else is wrong and we are right.  When this happens we refuse to forgive those that have wronged us.

Question of the Day: Who do you need to forgive?

YOUR GRACE IS SUFFECIENT

Daily Diary - February 19 2016

Your Grace Leads Me Home

I’ve been blessed to receive some great revelations from God through His word, ministry and even dreams.  He is not a respecter of persons and will reveal Himself to anyone who seeks Him.  God revealed another element of ministering to me through music.  I had been leading worship, playing rhythm guitar for about 3 years when I woke up with a message in the form of a song.

It was about 2 years ago and I was struggling with some changes that I needed and I felt distant from God.  The trials of every day life were weighing heavy on my heart and I was in need of a break through.  When this happens, we may begin to lose focus and start to feel sorry for ourselves.  Sometimes in life we reach a point when we throw up our hands and say, “That’s it God, I can’t take it anymore, fix this.”  I’ve learned this is a good place to be.  We need to let go and let God take over.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

BEING PREPARED

Daily Diary - February 18th 2016

Joel 2:28 “And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions.

I had a dream that I was playing baseball on a town team with older men. We were gathered together for fun to play a game. In this dream I was well versed in the game rules and understood baseball at a high level. The confidence I had in my ability allowed me to steal bases and basically do anything I wanted. The experience I had gained from college and coaching at multiple levels had made my reactions sharp, and I was able to help others with the rules and execution.

Some of the people playing were women and young boys who had very little if any experience with the game. They were unsure of the simple truths, such as how many strikes and balls you could have as a batter. Others didn’t even know that you could steal a base. The knowledge of the game varied greatly among the players.

PARABLE OF THE SOCK

Daily Diary - February 17th 2016

Parable of the Sock

(A Dream from the Holy Spirit)

I had a dream one morning I couldn’t find matching socks. The socks were placed in a basket after being laundered. Talk about frustrating! In this basket, there were seven different types of socks – real low, real high, medium, medium with ridges, medium plain, short with puffy edges, short without puffy edges at the top.

Sometimes I find a match and get them on only to realize that one sock has a hole in the big toe! Frustrated, I start the process all over. One thing I clearly remember is that they were only the white socks.

Question:  How many of us have faced the Sock dilemma?

JESUS, THE SOURCE OF POWER

Daily Diary - February 16th 2016

Jesus, the Source of Power!

(A Dream from the Holy Spirit)

December 10, 2006

I had a dream in 2006 that I wanted to share with you today.  As I have grown in the Lord I realize my writing has changed and my spiritual perspective deepens.  At the time this dream was written in 2006 it had a very profound meaning on my life and I am certain that its message will help someone.

The dream began as we came home to our old house in Camargo, Oklahoma. There was work being done to repair the home and changes were being made.

When we entered the living room a friend of mine reached for an electrical cord on the wall. He grabbed it and it began to electrocute him. Another man who was with us told me that the power was killing him and we needed to help him. I realized we needed to shut down the power to the cord. If we could shut it off, we could save him. If we grabbed him we would die ourselves from the same electrical shock.

CHRISTIANITY

Daily Diary - February 15th 2016

As I continue to see the world reflect its opinion of Christianity I can’t help but be amazed at the foolish lack of knowledge that is being thrown around the internet and television by the “World”.

The latest headline I read said “Christian Peyton Manning in another scandal”.  First of all the scandals that the world is trying to attach to Peyton are more than likely false.  Secondly and more importantly, why is Peyton Manning and others so visibly labeled as “Christian” with the intent of emphasizing that he or she shouldn’t ever make a mistake or that they are supposed to be perfect.  There is only one perfect one.  Jesus Christ.

Romans 3:10-11 10 As it is written “There is none righteous, no, not one; 11 There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God.

I believe this scripture would also reflect those who write stories about Christians without knowing what a Christian is.  They obviously do not seek God.

ONE DAY AT A TIME

Daily Diary - February 13th 2016

One Day at a Time

This morning Carrie and I woke up to another Saturday of chasing our children to ball games and events. I began to reflect on life and how fast the time goes.  We are growing older and watching life pass by.  Seems like yesterday that our first son Luke was born and he is now 17 and narrowing towards his senior year.  This reminds me how quickly it all takes place.

I began to focus on “this” day and what it had for me.  I opened the Word of God and looked up what a single day had in store for me.

Psalms 84:10-11 Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere;
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.

<<  21 22 23 24 25 [2627 28 29  >>

Romans 8:38-39

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
