BUILDING ON ROCK!

Daily Diary January 15th, 2019

Building On The Rock!

Our daily experiences in the world are forming our life foundation.  What we allow in our heart will determine the substance of its strength in times of trouble.

Luke 6:46-49 “So why do you keep calling me ‘Lord, Lord!’ when you don’t do what I say? 47 I will show you what it’s like when someone comes to me, listens to my teaching, and then follows it. 48 It is like a person building a house who digs deep and lays the foundation on solid rock. When the floodwaters rise and break against that house, it stands firm because it is well built. 49 But anyone who hears and doesn’t obey is like a person who builds a house right on the ground, without a foundation. When the floods sweep down against that house, it will collapse into a heap of ruins.”

ARE YOU LUCKY OR BLESSED?

Daily Diary January 14th, 2019

Are You Lucky or Blessed?

After accepting Jesus as savior and facing the world’s trials I have determined that “luck” is a word that doesn’t go with salvation.  Once saved we obtain a relationship with a father and the truth of the Word of God is driving us towards God’s goodness and doesn’t require luck but rather faith.

If we are lucky than we are relying on the consequences of the world.  We are seeking things and expecting our outcome to be by “chance”.  I believe this is what the enemy’s plan is for us.  If he can make us rely on chance as our hope then we are not relying on hope of God.  This also implies that we do not have a future and destiny that is in conjunction with God’s divine plan.

WISDOM

Daily Diary January 12, 2019

Godly Wisdom

So many times we are content with staying in the same place and not growing in knowledge.  I have learned that we are designed to change and grow the way God intended. The Holy Spirit is available to guide us into all truth and wisdom.

James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

Question:  Do you pray for wisdom?

EXAMINE YOUR HEART

Daily Diary January 11th, 2019

Self -Judgment

When we have accepted Jesus as savior we are forgiven of our sin and this places us in right standing with God.  Our salvation is based on the fact that we need a savior because we are guilty of unrighteousness.  When this happens we become self aware of our sin and are able to judge ourselves to walk out our salvation by striving to eliminate our failures.

1 Corinthians 11:31-32 For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged.32 But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.

WHAT'S IN YOUR HEART?

Daily Diary January 9th, 2019

What’s In Your Heart?

The old saying “you are what you eat” is true from a spiritual sense the same way as from a physical perspective.

Luke 6:43-45 “No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. 44 Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thorn bushes, or grapes from briers. 45 A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

SHINE ON!

Daily Diary January 8th, 2019

Light Your Lamp

When we know Jesus as our savior and seek him, the dark areas of our lives begin to be revealed so we can transform to the Truth of who we are in the Lord.

As we are made aware of the things that need to change in our lives we can start the process of transformation that we all desire.

2 Corinthians 3:18 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

REJOICE

Daily Diary January 7th, 2019

REJOICE!

As we follow Christ we desire to follow the Word of God.  His Word will guide us into all truth.  The “Will” of God for our lives can, and will, become our highest priority.

God’s plan for us is “Good”.  In fact it’s the only eternal plan of hope, love and peace that works for us.  God created us and obviously knows what’s best.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED

Daily Diary January 6th, 2019

Everything You Need

Do we seek to have everything we need or everything we want?  This is a good question.  We often find ourselves seeking many things that we have concluded as needs but more than likely they are wants that are unnecessary to live a Godly life.

2 Peter 1:3 His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

WHAT'S YOUR EVERYTHING?

Daily Diary January 5th, 2019

What’s Your Everything?

Our performance in life is related to our success.  It is very easy to fall into the trap of pleasing man instead of God to gain short-term popularity, promotion or acceptance.

Galatians 1:10 Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.

Question:  Today will you seek man’s approval in your choices or God’s?

EXPOSE THE DARKNESS

Daily Diary January 4th, 2019

Walk the Walk

This morning I was thinking about the upcoming day with hope of a great future.  This is a hope of looking forward to God’s plan in our lives.

We have a choice to dwell on the past or to walk in the newness of life that Jesus brought to us through His resurrection.

Romans 6:1-4 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

PREPARE A PLACE FOR ME LORD!

Daily Diary January 3rd, 2019

Where Is Your Mansion?

Today I was thinking about the many things that God provides for us and one key scripture came to mind.

John 14:2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Jesus was telling the disciples that He needed to go to prepare our place because we had been separated from God by our sin.  He was going to fulfill the plan so that we could be at home with the father for eternity.

Question of the Day:  Who has something going on in their life that they don’t understand?

JESUS Brings Newness of Life!

JESUS Brings Newness of Life!

(Dream Revelation of Overcoming Dead Religion)

Starting 2019 I was led to post one of the most powerful dream revelations I have received.  It was origionally titled "The Pool of the Dead". For 2019 I have renamed it as "JESUS Brings Newness of Life"

I believe this is the prophetic WORD for 2019.  "Walk in the newness of the LIFE that Jesus has given us"

Are We Deceived?

The more I study the Word and seek God, I learn that we all can be deceived at times.  A lot of the time we actually deceive ourselves.  How you might ask?  People’s pride that comes from their good deeds or works starts to deceive them into thinking they are exempt from sin, or that their reliance is not on Jesus, but on themselves.

1 John 1:8-10 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

THE FRUIT OF DISCIPLINE

Daily Diary October 10th, 2018

The Fruit of Discipline

We strive to have discipline in life for many reasons.  Some of which include; exercise, weight management and especially job requirements.  We must discipline ourselves in the Word of God and make it our highest priority.

Hebrews 12:11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

To produce a harvest of righteousness we must be trained in the word of God and create an ongoing relationship with Him.  This takes “discipline” on our part.

Romans 8:38-39

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
